Rule 130
Gratuity
: (1) A police officer who has served for five years or more but has not reached the pensionable period as per rule 131, if he retires or resigns after accepting his resignation, or if he is removed from his post without being disqualified for government employment in the future, he will get gratuity at the following rate:-
(a) Police employees who have been employed for more than five years and ten years, the last half month salary for each year of service,
(b) Police personnel who have been employed for more than ten years and for fifteen years, the last one month's salary for each year of service.
(c) Police personnel who have been employed for more than fifteen years but less than twenty years, the salary of the last one and a half months for each year of service.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), no gratuity shall be given to such police officer if it is proved that the police officer has falsified his citizenship or age or qualifications for the purpose of obtaining service or remaining in that service.
