Rule 243
Legal opinion advice
(1) If any legal question arises in the meeting of the Assembly or any of its committees, the opinion of the legal adviser of the Secretariat shall be consulted and he shall also represent the Assembly or the committee in any case in which the Assembly or the committee is in favor or against. However, this rule shall not be deemed to prevent the House of Representatives or the Committee from appointing a separate legal expert for that purpose
