Rule 60
Kiriya Vida
(1) A civil servant shall be entitled to 15 days of kiriya leave if he has to live in kiriya according to his clan religion or if his parents, siblings, children or in-laws die or in the case of a male civil servant if his wife dies. If the husband of a female civil servant has to stay in Kiriya, he will also be given Kiriya leave for the same number of days.
(2) Civil servants will get full pay while on holiday leave.
(3) Civil servants who take leave according to sub-rule (1) must submit the certificate of death registration of the deceased person and proof of the relationship of the deceased person within fifteen days of appearing in the office after the leave.
(4) The period of such leave of the civil servant who does not submit such certificate within the period as per sub-rule (3) shall be deducted from the other leave he is entitled to.
