Section 191
Not to be beaten
(1) No one should beat anyone.
(2) If someone does any of the following acts to someone, he will be considered to have assaulted:-
(a) Inflicting any kind of physical pain,
(b) if by doing any act any disease other than the disease mentioned in section 104 and 105 is transmitted,
(c) In case of making him disabled by doing any other act. Explanation: For the purpose of this section, "disabled" means a condition in which any part of the body cannot function normally and the word also refers to mental disability.
(3) A person who commits or causes an offense under sub-section (1) shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years or with a fine which may extend to thirty thousand rupees.
