Rule 80
Home Leave
: (1) Police employees shall be entitled to home leave at the rate of thirty days every year.
(2) The police personnel will be allowed to accumulate the home leave they have earned up to a maximum of one hundred and eighty days.
(3) If a police officer has to walk to his office after taking home leave once a year and returning home after paying home leave, he will be entitled to one day's travel allowance for the purpose of eight hours and the same number of days it takes for motor, train, and airplane travel.< br> (4) If a police officer is absent from service for any reason, he will be entitled to receive a lump-sum payment for his accumulated home leave at the rate of his severance pay.
(5) Police personnel on home leave will get full pay, allowances and rations.
(6) A police officer under suspension shall not be entitled to home leave for the entire period.
(7) If any police officer dies before receiving the accumulated home leave amount, the person as per sub-rule (5) of rule 133 shall be entitled to receive such accumulated home leave amount in lump sum.
