Police personnel will receive an amount equal to one month's salary for festivals celebrated according to their religion, culture, and tradition every year as festival expenses. Such amount can be paid by employees once in a financial year on the occasion of the main festival celebrated according to their religion, culture and tradition.
(2) Police personnel under suspension will also get festival expenses as per sub-rule (1).
(3) An amount equal to one month's pension will be given as festival expenses to the retired employees who are entitled to pension.
