Section 70
Do not spread false rumors
(1) No one shall spread rumours, spread propaganda or raise slogans which are not done in such a way as to disturb the public peace, create riots or provoke anyone with the intention of disturbing the sovereignty, geographical or territorial integrity of Nepal or harmonious relations between different castes, castes or sects.
(2) A person who commits or causes an offense under sub-section (1) shall be punished with imprisonment up to one year or with a fine of up to ten thousand rupees or with both.
