Section 40
Mention of salary

(1) Wherever salary is mentioned in this paragraph and paragraph 5, it will refer to the immediate salary amount (including salary increase) of the concerned civil servant. (2) For the purpose of section 36 and 37, "final salary" shall mean the salary of the concerned employee in the state of retirement and in case of such retirement, if any civil servant is on extraordinary leave or suspension, the full salary shall be calculated for such period also.
