(1a) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), the employees appointed in the categories and posts where the maximum age for entry into service is forty years and the employees appointed as candidates in accordance with sub-section (2) of section 10, in case of compulsory retirement due to age, their service period pension If it is not possible to get such a civil servant, the pension can be granted by adding the service period to a maximum of two years. However, this provision shall not apply to employees who have retired before the commencement of this sub-section.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the minimum amount of pension shall not be less than half of the starting scale of pay of a civil servant holding the same post and the maximum shall not exceed the starting scale of pay of a civil servant holding the same post.
(3) An employee who has been in the civil service since before 21st Kartik 2049 can voluntarily retire from service if he has completed 30 years of service. In this way, the civil servant who voluntarily retired from service or resumed civil service before 21st Kartik 2049 and was automatically retired as per section 33 due to the completion of 58 years of age, the period remaining until the completion of sixty years of age will be added to his total service period. will be done.
(4) In the event of the death of a civil servant who has completed fifteen years of service, a maximum period of five years will be added to his service period and his family will be allowed to choose whichever pension or gratuity they want to receive.
(5) If a person who is receiving a pension for his previous service in a government position is later appointed to a civil service position, he will be entitled to receive pension for the previous service period in accordance with this section.
