Rule 16

Based on the marks obtained by the government doctors in the integrated entrance examination for postgraduate level, a list of qualifications will be maintained by keeping a maximum of ten marks for experience and working in remote areas as follows:-
(a) Maximum four marks at the rate of two marks per year for experience,
(b) For working in remote areas, the number as mentioned in Schedule-5, not exceeding six points. Explanation: For the purpose of this rule, "Government Doctor" means a doctor working in a permanent position in the Nepal Health Service constituted in accordance with the prevailing law, in a permanent position in the Health Sub-Group of the Military Technical Service, the Health Sub-Group under the Technical Police Group of the Police Service or the Health Sub-Group under the Technical Group of the Armed Police Service. Practitioner, "Physician who is permanently employed in a permanent position in a government university or an institution established in accordance with prevailing law, a permanent position in an organization established in accordance with the Development Committee Act, 2013, a physician who has been permanently employed by the Nepal Health Service at the provincial or local level after completing the process determined by the Public Service Commission. Adjusted or permanent by State Public Service Commission. Additions by the Second Amendment. Appointment means a doctor working in a permanent position in the state government or local level.
(2) When calculating the points according to sub-rule (1), if the service period is more than one year, the points that will be accrued by the groom of the Chanchun period will also be calculated.
