Section 25
Restrictions on the right of private defense

(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in section 24, the right of private defense shall not be acquired in the following cases or against the work:-
(a) When there is an act of causing unlawful damage to the life or property of any person, when the protection or assistance of a public official is or may be available to save him from such damage,
(b) If the person whose life or property has been damaged has caused such damage by inciting the person causing the damage,
(c) In accordance with the judgment or order of a court, a public servant has done any act in good faith,
(d) For any act done by a public servant in the exercise of his official authority in good faith,
(e) For someone doing any work in accordance with the instructions given by a public servant in good faith in the exercise of his official authority.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), no person shall be deprived of the right of private defense in the following cases:-
(a) If the person doing the work mentioned in clause (c) of sub-section (1) is a national servant and there is no reasonable reason to know or believe that he is working in accordance with the judgment or order of the court, or even when his identity or the authorization to do that work is demanded, he shall not produce his identity If not given or if the authority to do such work is not shown,
(b) If it is known or there is no reasonable reason to believe that the person doing the work mentioned in clause (d) of sub-section (1) is a national servant,
(c) If the person doing the work referred to in clause (e) of sub-section (1) does not know or has reasonable cause to believe that he is doing such work under the direction of any national servant or if he does not inform that he is going to do such work in accordance with such instructions or if such work If you do not show such authorization even when you ask for it.
(3) In exercising the right of private defense under section 24 or this section, no more force than is reasonably necessary for such defense shall be used.
