Section 30
Salary if suspended
(1) If any civil servant is suspended in connection with government work or as a result of action taken on behalf of the Government of Nepal, he shall receive only half of his salary during the period of such suspension. However, if the charges are not proven and he is acquitted, he will receive half of his salary during the period of suspension, and if he does not, he will receive his full salary (including if there is a salary increase). If he is found guilty, he will not get the remaining salary allowance from the date of suspension.
(2) If a civil servant is suspended for any reason other than the reason mentioned in sub-section (1), he will not get the salary for the period of such suspension.
