(1) If there is a vacancy in the civil service, the relevant body shall inform the Public Service Commission within one month of the vacancy and inform the Ministry of General Administration. Officials who do not give notice within that period will be subject to departmental action.
(2) According to sub-section (1), the details of the posts that have become vacant and have been requested to be filled shall be publicly published within the month of Shravan every year as prescribed.
(3) When requesting for the filling of posts in the civil service, requests can be made by ascertaining the posts that have become vacant up to that period and the posts that will become vacant due to retirement and promotion within the current financial year.
(4) Other provisions related to demand for filling up of posts shall be as prescribed.
