: At the time of commencement of this regulation, the following provisions shall be applicable to the police personnel who have been posted and employed under the Police Guard Formation Regulations, 2064 and who have been re-appointed after having separated from the government service once:
(a) In the case of police personnel who have been appointed under the Police Guard Corps Formation Regulations, 2064, once separated from government service and re-appointed, seniority shall be maintained from the date of re-appointment.
(b) Once separated from the police service and re-appointed by the Nepal Police, the police personnel must undergo the rehabilitation training in accordance with the curriculum prescribed by the Police Head Office. Police personnel who have been separated from other services and appointed to the service of Nepal Police shall compulsorily undergo basic training in accordance with the curriculum prescribed by the Police Head Office.
