(1) Every year, one person from each district and one excellent employee from each ministry, secretariat, commission or department and office under it will be selected and awarded the amount as determined by the Government of Nepal.
(2) There will be a committee as follows to select the employees as per sub-rule (1);-
(a) In case of selection of employees under Ministry, Secretariat, Commission –
(1) The Secretary of the concerned Ministry, Secretariat or Commission – Chairman
(2) Heads of departments under the relevant ministries, secretariats or commissions - members (b) In case of district level staff selection –
(1) District Judge – Chairman
(2) Representative of District Administration Office – Member
(3) District Development Committee Office Representative – Member
(3) According to this rule, the criteria and basis for employee selection shall be as determined by the Government of Nepal.
(4) The secretariat of the committee as per clause (a) of sub-rule (2) shall be in the relevant ministry, secretariat or commission and the secretariat of the committee as per clause (b) shall be in the respective district court.
