Award
: If the following officers and the police officers of their subordinate offices do commendable work in the performance of their duties, they may give such police officers an increase in salary or a lump sum as follows:-
(a) Inspector General of Police up to five pay increments or up to two thousand five hundred rupees.
(b) The Superintendent of Police who is the head of the office and the Additional Inspector General of Police above, up to three pay increments or up to one thousand five hundred rupees.
(c) Inspectors of Police and Deputy Superintendents of Police who are Heads of Offices up to two pay increments or up to one thousand rupees.
(a) Inspector General of Police up to five pay increments or up to two thousand five hundred rupees.
(b) The Superintendent of Police who is the head of the office and the Additional Inspector General of Police above, up to three pay increments or up to one thousand five hundred rupees.
