Rule 119A
Dress up
(1) Every civil servant shall wear the uniform prescribed by the Government of Nepal while attending the office.
(2) The civil servant shall wear the dress as per sub-rule (1) while representing the Government of Nepal and participating in the official program.
(3) For the purpose of sub-rule (1), the clothing allowance as prescribed by the Government of Nepal shall be paid along with the salary of Chaitra month of each year.

(1) In the case of gazetted posts, in order to be promoted in civil service, group or sub-group vacant posts by performance evaluation and seniority and performance evaluation, employees with the minimum service period and educational qualification as per section 21 of the relevant service, group or sub-group under the relevant service, group or sub-group in the case of gazetted posts.
