Rule 209
Discussion and decision on proposal

(1) On the day and time fixed for the discussion, the proposer member shall submit the proposal after his name is called by the person presiding over the meeting and if he wishes, he may make a statement before submitting the proposal. The accused officials will also be able to participate in the discussion and vote.
(2) After the motion is presented in accordance with sub-rule (1), the person presiding over the meeting shall determine the time period for the discussion and after the expiry of that time period, the speaker or deputy speaker who is accused of not behaving in a manner appropriate to the position shall give a statement regarding the clearing of the allegations against him. In this way, after giving a statement regarding cleaning, the proposing member can withdraw the proposed proposal with the permission of the assembly if he wishes. If the proposing member does not want to withdraw the proposal or if the meeting does not give permission, the proposal will be presented for decision.
(3) For the purpose of sub-rule (2), the decision of the meeting shall be by division of votes with the signatures of the members.
(4) If the proposal according to rule 207 is passed by a two-thirds majority of the total number of members of the assembly, then the relevant speaker or deputy speaker will be relieved of office.
