: In order to organize Sanskrit education to the highest level in the state of Nepal, to study, research, preserve and promote the special achievements of Sanskrit learning in various fields according to time, to get the knowledge and inspiration of Sanskrit learning while adhering to traditional religion and moral values, morality and honesty. Since it is desirable to establish a university in order to develop it as a center for learning, and the glorious tradition of Sanskrit learning has existed in the state of Nepal since ancient times and to continue it, this Act has been made with the advice and consent of the National Panchayat from Shri 5th Maharaj Adhiraj Birendra Bir Vikram Shahdev.
