Section 18
General-Secretary

(1) The appointment of the General-Secretary of the University shall be made by the Vice-Chancellor for four years at a time on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor.

(2) The General-Secretary shall be a full-time salaried officer.

(3) The General Administration Fund of the University shall be under the supervision of the Secretary-General and he shall give advice to the Assembly regarding the economic policy to be adopted by the University. The responsibility of preparing, registering the names of the students and arranging for the certificates will be the responsibility of the Secretary-General. 6) Other duties, duties, rights and remuneration and conditions of service of the General Secretary shall be as prescribed.
