(1) A committee of three members will be constituted by the Chancellor from among the members of the Assembly to submit a recommendation for appointment to the post of Vice-Chancellor of the University. A list of at least three people for the post of Vice-Chancellor shall be submitted to the Vice-Chancellor.
(3) The Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor after considering the recommendations submitted in accordance with sub-section (2).
( 4) The term of office of the Vice-Chancellor shall be four years at a time.
(5) In the absence of the Vice-Chancellor, his duties shall be as prescribed by the Vice-Chancellor.
(6) According to sub-section (5). Until arrangements are made, the Head of Education will perform the duties of the Vice-Chancellor.
(7) The Vice-Chancellor will be a full-time salaried officer. His remuneration and other conditions of service shall be as prescribed.
(8) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the chief administrative and academic officer of the University.
(9) In the absence of both the Chancellor and the Vice-Chancellor, the convocation ceremony of the University. And the meeting will be presided over by the Vice-Chancellor.
(10) It shall be the duty of the Vice-Chancellor to ensure that this Act or the rules made under this Act are followed and for the purpose of this, in the opinion of the Vice-Chancellor, no action shall be taken without immediate action. If he thinks that it is coming, he can take action as he sees fit and necessary and will give the information to the relevant officer or body as soon as possible. (11) The Vice-Chancellor will implement the decision or order of the meeting. >(12) The Vice-Chancellor shall have general control over all the activities of the University.
(13) All matters presented in the Assembly shall be presented through the Vice-Chancellor.
(14) Sub- Other duties, duties and rights of the Chancellor shall be as prescribed.
