Rule 189
Provision of police library
(1) The following facilities under paragraph-11 of this regulation will be provided from the police library on the recommendation of the concerned office.
(a) Issuance of authorization of retired police personnel.
(b) Calculate the number of gratuity and send it to the concerned body.
(c) To issue certificates of family pension, disability pension, children's pension, education pension etc.
(d) Enrollment of family pension.
(2) In addition to providing the services mentioned in sub-rule (1), the police library will also perform the following functions:-
(a) Registration of posts,
(b) To collect the data of vacant posts and send them in writing to the ministry and police headquarters monthly or immediately for the purpose of filling the posts,
(c) To keep all the records of police personnel from recruitment to discharge (appointment, transfer, promotion, award, departmental punishment, educational qualification, training, medical treatment, etc.),
(d) Registering and certifying citrols,
(e) Addition of employment,
(f) matching scale,
(g) To pass the talbi report,
(h) If the details in the records are different, check and confirm (i) To keep a record of the amount taken for medical treatment while the police personnel are at work,
(j) Keeping records of property details.
(3) In the case of new appointment, the appointing officer and the officer who transfers in accordance with that regulation shall send the notice of such appointment or transfer to the police library and give notice thereof to the officer one level above him and to the police head office.
(4) If the police employee's gratuity, pension, departmental punishment, award, money for medical treatment is taken while serving as a police employee, the record should also be sent to the police library.
(5) The Police Bookstore will delegate the necessary authority to the District Administration Office of the respective district and make it available through the relevant Treasury and Accounts Controller's office for new pension rights, lease revisions, distribution of copies or additional booklets if the pages run out.
