Section 14

Based on the information received from other sources in the fantwari filed as per section 13, the designated officer shall correct any mistake and prepare the final fantwari. But according to section 13, before correcting anything in the fantwari given by someone, the designated official should give a period of at least fifteen days to the concerned person to give an opportunity to give an explanation with evidence and the designated official can correct the fantwari only after examining the evidence submitted by him. According to that, if the fantwari is corrected, the relevant person should be informed about it. (2) ... ... ... 14A can complain: (1) Any person or family holding more than the maximum amount of land that can be held as a land owner in accordance with this Act, when submitting a fantwari in accordance with section 13, any person who gets information that the land has been hidden and submitted a fantwari He can file a complaint before the officer.
(2) If the complaint received in accordance with sub-section (1) is determined to be reasonable, such land shall be confiscated and come under the ownership of the Government of Nepal.
(3) An amount equal to 25 percent of the value of the confiscated land as per sub-section (2) will be awarded to the person making such a complaint as a reward.
