Rule 87
Leave Granting Officer
: (1) Head of office should get approval from Taluk office if leave or sick leave is required.
(2) All kinds of leave can be given to police inspectors and other officers of the office headed by the head of the office and emergency leave, sick leave and work leave to the police inspector and the officer above.
(3) Home leave can be given to police inspectors and higher police officers by the head of office one level above.
(4) Other police personnel can be given leave other than home leave to the employees of the office headed by the head of the same office and home leave by the head of the office one level above.
(5) The head of the relevant branch and the inspector general of police or the officer appointed by him may grant sick leave and sick leave to the police inspector of the police headquarters and police officers above that.
