Rule 6
Conduct and Adjournment of Meeting

(1) The meeting of the House of Representatives will be held on the days specified by the Speaker, subject to this regulation, taking into account the workload.
(2) Unless otherwise ordered by the Speaker, the meeting will normally start at one o'clock. However, if the meeting cannot be started within two hours of the scheduled time, the Speaker will adjourn the meeting and notify the next meeting.
(3) If due to any reason the day, time or program of the meeting is changed, the notice along with the reason will be posted on the notice board of the meeting and the related information will also be given to the members through electronic communication. All members shall be deemed to have received the notice so given.
(4) The Speaker shall announce the commencement and adjournment of each meeting. (5) The presence of the minister in the meeting must be mandatory and in the case of discussion on matters related to a ministry, the minister concerned must also be present.
(6) Officials of all parties represented in the House of Representatives will assist in conducting the meeting.
