Section 18
Actions done without taking permission for the good are not guilty
In the event that no action is taken immediately for the good of a person, when such a person is unable to give his/her consent immediately to allow such work to be done for some reason, and the guardian who can give consent on his/her behalf is also not immediately available for his/her good. Even if without permission, doing such an act carefully with good intentions, if any damage or loss is caused to him, such act will not be considered a fault. Explanation: Section 16, 17 and for the purposes of this section, "good" means:
(a) Does not refer to financial gain,
(b) Does not refer to an act done with the intention of taking life or maiming without reasonable cause.
