Rule 165
Consideration of the report of the impeachment recommendation committee
(1) On the day and time appointed by the Speaker, the chairman of the impeachment recommendation committee or in his absence any other member of the committee appointed by the Speaker shall submit a proposal to the meeting to consider the report of the committee.
(2) After the proposal is submitted according to sub-rule (1), the report will be discussed in the meeting.
(3) During the discussion according to sub-rule (2), any member may propose amendments to the report or submit a proposal that the report be sent back to the impeachment recommendation committee for re-investigation in relation to any particular matter.
(4) According to sub-rule (3), if the proposal to be sent back to the impeachment recommendation committee is approved, the report will be sent to the said committee and the committee will re-investigate and send its report to the meeting within seven days.
