Rule 56A
Investigation of Human Trafficking - Duties, Duties and Powers of the Bureau Chief
(1) Under the direction and control of the Police Head Office, the work, duties and powers of the Head of Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau within his area of responsibility shall be as follows:-
(a) Making necessary arrangements to prevent human trafficking and trafficking-related offences,
(b. To investigate the following offenses related to human trafficking and other criminal offenses to be investigated by the Nepal Police which are related to such offences:-
(1) Offenses reported to Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau,
(2) The nature of the crime is organized, Gambhirba is "complicated, and the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau will investigate the decision made by the Police Headquarters,
(3) An offense assigned by the Police Headquarters for having been requested by the relevant police office to be more effective in the investigation by the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau.
(c) To immediately rescue victims of crimes related to human trafficking and transportation and arrange emergency protection and other necessary arrangements, (d) To supervise, monitor and coordinate the work done by other police offices in the work related to the control and investigation of crimes related to human trafficking and trafficking,
(e. To manage the central record of crimes related to human trafficking and trafficking,
(f. To follow or make instructions given by Taluk Office,
(G) To do or cause other activities as specified by prevailing laws.
(2) When conducting investigations related to crimes reported or received for investigation by the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau, if it is deemed appropriate to complete the rest of the investigation work from other police offices, the Head of the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau shall send all the evidences and documents related to such cases to the relevant police office.
(3) Sub-rule (2) In relation to the cyber-related case of Bamoshjam, the concerned police office shall submit the investigation report to the government after completing the investigation work, and then the information shall also be given to the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau.is
(4) Police personnel assigned by the head of the Human Trafficking Investigation Bureau during the investigation under this rule will be able to work throughout Nepal using the same authority as the investigation officer under the prevailing law.
