Section 57
Do not attack the President
(1) No one should take the life of the President of Nepal or attempt to take life.
(2) No one shall abduct or cause the President of Nepal in any way or take or cause to take his body hostage.
(3) No one should attack or cause any kind of attack on the President of Nepal.
(4) A person who commits an offense under this section shall be punished as follows:-
(a) Imprisonment for life in case of offense under sub-section (1). (b) Imprisonment from ten years to fifteen years for an offense under sub-section (2),
(c) Imprisonment from five years to ten years in case of offense under sub-section (3).
