Section 68
Public Service Commission to be consulted
In the context of departmental punishment proceedings, if the clearance given by the concerned civil servant in accordance with Section 66 or the explanation given in accordance with Section 67 is not satisfactory and it is found that such employee should be punished, the officer authorized to order departmental punishment shall consult the Public Service Commission by proposing the punishment to be given to that employee.
