Rule 29
Split

(1) In accordance with sub-rule (2) of Rule 28, if at least twenty-eight members stand in their respective positions and express their disagreement with the announcement of the Speaker, the Speaker shall collect the votes by dividing the members who say "yes", "no" and "not voting" in the following manner:-
(a) causing each member to pronounce the words “yes”, “no” and “abstain”, or
(b) by having the "yes", "no" and "not voting" members enter the sub-chamber (lovi) through different doors and sign the list in alphabetical order, or
(c) by operating an automated vote recording system.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), if the Speaker finds the demand for division unnecessary, before giving the order for division, the members who say "Yes", "No" and "No vote" shall stand up in their respective places in order to determine the decision of the assembly by counting the numbers. (3) For the use of automatic vote recording system to collect votes as per sub-rule (1),-
(a) If the Speaker feels that a member is unable to operate the device for any reason, he may ask him before giving a decision and count the votes.
(b) If a member casts a wrong vote due to pressing the wrong point of the automatic vote recording machine or during the counting of votes by division of votes, he may correct his vote by drawing the attention of the Speaker before pronouncing the decision.
(4) The result of the counting of votes collected according to sub-rule (1) or (2) shall be announced immediately by the Speaker and no one shall be allowed to express disagreement with it.
(5) The Speaker shall have the right to divide any proposal into more than one question and keep it for decision. The speaker will have the right to appoint a vote collector and determine other procedures for the division of votes including signatures.
