Section 82
Not to refuse to swear
(1) A person appearing before an authorized officer to state the truth shall not refuse to take such oath because he is ordered to take an oath for the purpose of expressing such a thing.
(2) A person who commits an offense under sub-section (1) shall be punished with imprisonment up to three months or a fine of up to five thousand rupees or both.
