Rule 254
Provisions relating to amendment
(1) The assembly may make necessary amendments in this regulation.
(2) If it is deemed necessary to amend these regulations, any member shall give notice of the proposal to the Speaker with the reasons and details thereof.
(3) If the notice as per sub-rule (2) is given permission by the speaker, the member presenting the proposal shall present the proposal along with the name of the member who will be in the committee to the meeting for approval.
(4) The committee as per sub-rule (3) shall have the required number of members and the chairman of the committee shall be selected by the members of the committee from among themselves.
(5) After the committee submits its report to the meeting, unless the speaker changes the other procedure, the procedure adopted in relation to the bill shall be adopted.
