Rule 240
Secretariat Arrangements
(1) There will be a secretariat to operate and manage the work of the Federal Parliament, to assist in legislative work, to provide necessary service facilities to officials and members, and to operate and manage the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
(2) The Secretary General will act as the administrative head of the Secretariat.
(3) The Secretary General may delegate some of his powers to the Secretary of the House of Representatives, the Secretary of the National Assembly, and the Secretary of the Secretariat as needed.
(4) Other arrangements related to the Secretariat shall be in accordance with the prevailing Nepalese law and the regulations approved by the Secretariat Operation and Management Committee under it.
