The functions, duties and powers of the Assembly shall be as follows:-

(a) to determine the policy of the University,

(b) for the development of the University Formulating long-term programs and implementing such programs, conducting, >

(e) to make necessary arrangements regarding the establishment and affiliation of campuses,

(f) to determine the various degrees to be awarded by the university,

(g) the individual campuses of the university and Giving instructions and guidance to the campuses affiliated to the university, (h) allowing the university to conduct any new program, (h) determining the educational, academic and administrative policies of the bodies under the university (j) approve the annual budget and program of the university, (k) discuss the annual report of the bodies under the university and evaluate the program,

p>(l) Appointing auditors, discussing and approving audit reports,

(d) Passing university related rules,

(l) Academic and administrative work Approving the necessary posts of teachers and staff, (n) forming various committees, sub-committees or work teams according to the needs of the university, (h) doing other tasks as specified.< /p>
