(1) There shall be an Assembly as the highest body in the University.

(2) The constitution of the Assembly shall be as follows:-

(a) Vice-Chancellor President

(b) Vice-Chancellor Vice-President

(c) ) Vice-Chancellor Member

(d)  ………

(e) of other universities Two members from among the Vice-Chancellors

(f) Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Member

(g) Three members from among academicians

(h) Deans members

( j) Three members from among the heads of the municipality including the head of Pokhara municipality

(j) Four members from among the campus heads

(k) Three members from among the chairpersons of the subject committee of the university

(k1) One member representing the Nepal Professors Association

(l) Representative, member of Pokhara University Professors Association

(d) Three members from among the teachers

(r) …………………….

(n) Chairman of University Grants Commission or his nominee The members of that commission

(th) three members from among education lovers and social workers

(th ) four members from among industrialists, traders and farmers

(d) two members from among donors

( d) Two members from among the Principals of Higher Secondary Schools

(n) Two members from among the Presidents of the Independent Students Union of the campus

(p) Registrar Member-Secretary

(3) Apart from the ex-officio members, other members of the assembly will be nominated by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Executive Council.

(4) The term of office of the nominated members will be three years.
