: (1) There will be a National Vaccination Advisory Committee to develop, expand and operate the vaccination program and to advise the committee regarding the immediate operation of the vaccination program during natural disasters or epidemics.
(2) The formation of the Advisory Committee shall be as follows:-
(a) A person nominated by the Ministry from among public health specialists or senior pediatric specialists - Chairman
(b) Director, Division of Child Health, Department – ​​Member
(c) Chairman of Nepal Pediatric Society or the representative of the society appointed by him - member
(d) Three persons nominated by the Ministry from among epidemiologists, public health experts, health economists or senior pediatric specialists - members
(e) Head, Immunization Branch, Department – ​​Member – Secretary
(3) The term of office of the chairman and nominated members of the advisory committee will be four years.
(4) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (3), if the chairman and nominated members of the advisory committee do not fulfill their official duties, the ministry may remove them at any time.
(5) Before removing the chairman or member of the advisory committee in accordance with sub-section (4), the ministry shall give him an opportunity to submit an explanation.
(6) The work of the Secretariat of the Advisory Committee will be done by the Child Health Division of the Department.
