: (1) There will be a National Vaccination Committee for making recommendations to the Ministry to formulate policies related to vaccination programs.
(2) The composition of the committee shall be as follows:-
(a) Secretary to the Ministry – Chairman
(b) Director General of the Department – ​​Member
(c) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Finance – Member
(d)       Joint Secretary, Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration -Member
(e) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology -Member (f) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens - Member (g) Two persons nominated by the Ministry including one woman from among pediatric specialists, public health specialists or health economists - members
(h) Director, Child Health Division, Department – ​​Member – Secretary
(3) The term of office of the nominated members according to sub-section (2) will be four years.
(4) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (3), if any nominated member fails to fulfill his official duties, the Ministry may remove him from membership at any time.
(5) Under sub-section (4), before removing a member from office, the Ministry shall give him an opportunity to submit an explanation.
(6) The secretariat of the committee will be done by the child health division of the department.
