: Cash, goods, arms, documents, etc. in the custody of the police station, area police office to the police head office, etc. (a) The current owner should notify the former owner as soon as possible of the date of restoration and the former owner should also be ready to hand over the responsibility from that day.
(b) The necessary time required for the investigation will be as prescribed by the Government of Nepal on behalf of the Inspector General of Police and in the case of other police personnel, it will be generally 15 days and the investigation must be done within that time.
(c) If there is no special reason to do it within the time specified in Clause (b), the taluk office one level above may extend the time for one time not to exceed twenty one days.
