(1) There shall be a Service Commission as follows to recommend the appointment and promotion of teachers and staff of the University:-

(a) a person appointed by the Chancellor Chairman

(b) Member, Public Service Commission Member

(c) One member from among the professors

(2) The appointment of the chairman and members as per clauses (a) and (c) of sub-section (1) shall be made by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Executive Council.

(3) Appointed as per sub-section (2) The term of office of the chairman and members shall be four years.

(4) The procedure for the meeting of the Service Commission shall be as determined by the Service Commission itself.

(5) When the Service Commission recommends the appointment and promotion of teachers. Academic ability and experience and when recommending for the appointment and promotion of employees, administrative efficiency and experience will be the main basis. ) The work, duties and rights of the Chairman and members of the Service Commission shall be as prescribed.

(8) The remuneration and facilities of the Chairman of the Service Commission shall be as prescribed.
