Section 172
<br> not to marry in Hadanata
No one shall marry or cause to be married in a relationship punishable by adultery, except in cases where it has been done according to tradition.
(2) If the marriage as per sub-section (1) has taken place without knowledge, such marriage shall be null and void.
(3) If the marriage as per sub-section (1) is knowingly, the person who commits such a marriage shall be punished with imprisonment for a term of up to three months or a fine of up to three thousand rupees or both and such marriage shall automatically be annulled.
