(1) The term of office for the following positions shall be as follows without exceeding the age limit as per rule 14:-
(a) Above – Three years
(b) Assistant Chariot – Four years
(c) Mahasenani and Chief Senani – five years.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in clauses (a), (b) and (c) of sub-rule (1), if there is a special recommendation from the Commander-in-Chief that the service of the following officers who have served for a long period and are physically fit is necessary for the Nepali Army, the Government of Nepal The term of office may be increased as follows:-
(a) above – a period of two years,
(b) Assistant Rathi – for a maximum of six years at the rate of two years at a time,
(c) Mahasenani and Chief Senani – three years for the first time and two years for the second time, with a maximum of five years.
