1 An Ancient Monument Survey and Classification Committee has been formed as follows for surveying and classifying ancient monuments:- 2.3.1.1 Director General, Department - Coordinator 2.3.1.2 Head of Department, Nepali, Department of History, Culture, Archeology Central Teaching, Tribhuvan University - Member 2.3.1.3 Head of Department, Department of Architecture, Institute of Engineering Studies, Tribhuvan University - Member 2.3.1.4 Administrator, Guthi Institute – Members 2.3 1.5 Two people appointed by Nepal Government from among the experts related to the field of survey and classification of ancient monuments - Member 2.3.1.6 Representative, Monastery Management and Development Committee - Member 2.3.1.7 Official appointed by the department - Member-Secretary 2 3.2 The classification committee may invite the chairman of the concerned village development committee or the head of the municipality or the representative of the concerned village development committee or the municipality, native or foreign experts related to the survey and classification of ancient monuments or any official of the Government of Nepal to participate in the meeting of the classification committee as observers. 2.3.3 Classification committee meeting will be held as per requirement. 2.3.4 The procedure for the meeting of the classification committee can be organized by the committee itself.
