Rule 66
Proposals of essential public importance

(1) If a member wants to discuss a matter of urgent public importance, the notice of the related proposal must be given to the secretary at least two hours before the start of the meeting and such proposal must be supported by at least two members. (3) If the subject of the proposal as per sub-rule (1) is deemed to be of public importance, the chairman shall consult with the minister related to the proposal and approve the proposal. Two hours will be fixed. (5) After the proposal is approved according to sub-rule (3), the chairman will take the name of the proposing member and the proposing member will give a brief statement. After that, the chairman will give time to the members who will participate in the discussion. (6) The questions raised in the discussion will be answered by the concerned minister.
