The tasks, duties and powers of the Academic Council shall be as follows:-

(a) To act as the main body in the academic matters of the University,

(b) Determining the quality of teaching in the university, curriculum, level and type of examination, evaluation methods, teaching materials, number and qualification of student admissions, (c) Formulating policy on research and approval of research programs. (d) to evaluate the academic programs of students; To do,

(g) to prescribe the minimum qualification of teachers for different levels.
