Any officer or person who has the right to make currency according to the prevailing law, knowingly makes money contrary to the standards prescribed by law, makes money contrary to the conditions of making money, makes more money than it should be made, or does any work with the intention of making a difference or using it to himself or someone else. It should not be used to make a profit or help in such work.
(2) A person who commits or causes an offense under sub-section (1) shall be imprisoned for up to seven years and fined up to seventy thousand rupees.
