Section 88
May make orders in relation to audit
(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or any other prevailing law, after receiving the auditor's report, the Authority may, if deemed necessary, order the insurer's auditor to perform the following additional functions:-
(a) To submit additional information deemed necessary by the Authority in connection with the audit, (b) To conduct other checks as prescribed by the Authority or as recommended to the insurer on a particular matter.
(2) All the expenses incurred in re-auditing as per sub-section (1) shall be borne by the concerned insurer.
