Rule 199
Detailed discussion on the provisions of the treaty with amendments

(1) When considering the provisions of the treaty including amendments, reservations will be made in the order of the provisions placed and the member called by the chairman or the member authorized by him may present the amendment. According to the order of the relationship, the chairman will submit a proposal that "this should become a part of the treaty" for decision. However, in order to save time, the chairman may allow discussion of the same provision or interdependent amendments received under it to eliminate duplication and during the discussion on the provisions, any part or provision of the treaty should be discussed before and after. Explanation:- Notwithstanding anything else written in these rules, for the purposes of this rule and rule 198, in the case of regular discussions on the treaty in the legislative committee, "Chairman" means the chairman of the legislative committee. And "meeting" also refers to the meeting of the same committee.
