Section 144
Punishment for obstruction
If any person obstructs the conduct of investigation or investigation under this Act; On the basis of the report of the investigating or investigating officer, the investigating officer may impose imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or a fine which may extend to one lakh rupees or both.
