(1) The minimum annual royalty of the recognized forest to be given in accordance with Rule 69 shall be as mentioned in Schedule-38.
(2) In addition to the royalties as per sub-rule (1), the organized organization that takes the forest in accordance with rule 69 shall make available to the Government of Nepal five percent of the bill issued for the sale of goods or services provided by the forest.
(3) In accordance with rule 69, the organization that takes the forest must submit the annual royalty as mentioned in the agreement to the department by the end of June of each financial year.
(4) The Department of Forestry may cancel the agreement of the forest with the organized organization that does not pay the royalty within the period as per sub-rule (3). However, if such an organized organization appeals to the Ministry within three months of the cancellation of the opening agreement due to the reason of not being able to pay the royalty within the deadline, the Ministry may maintain the agreement by taking a hundred percent additional penalty on the amount of royalty due as per sub-rule (1).
